Personal Accident

Anyone can suffer a serious accident at any time. If a person could no longer support themselves or their family, the financial results would be disastrous. Many people make the mistake of thinking that their life insurance or employee benefits will cover all expenses. What about hidden costs such as special travel arrangements, extra help in the home or home nursing, special educational needs, bond and car repayments, and with changes in medical legislation, shortfalls that need to be provided for? Many membership-based organisations want to offer their members benefits that would add value if the member had to incur severe financial obligations or suffer emotional trauma thereby creating a stronger affiliation with its members.

Individual and Specialty programmes utilise an interactive system of marketing with a mix of advertising media and one-on-one selling to provide members with benefits through generic AIG products, or niche products created for the organisation or group. These can be provided on a voluntary or a compulsory basis on discounted group rates. It supplements any other insurance already in place; claims are paid directly into the insured's bank account and provide valuable cover in instances where no primary cover exists.
