Rape Crisis Handbags

We have already mentioned how proud we are of our Intasure Team and, in particular, their generosity of spirit.

Today Shirley delivered the results of our teams most recent charitable efforts.

The Simon’s Town Museum has organised a drive as part of Woman’s Month and in support of the organisation Rape Crisis in Cape Town.

They called for people to donate handbags and asked them to fill them with personal comfort items to be given to rape survivors during the initial reporting process at police stations.

These contents included items such as underwear, soap, toothbrush and toothpaste, snacks deodorants, notebooks and pens and the like.

As always, our team did us proud and a number of filled handbags have been supplied to this worthy cause.
